Fostering community is always a good idea but incentivising comments will most likely result in a lot of superficial interactions, basically a whole lot of people blowing a whole lot of smoke up a whole lot of arse. I just had a quick look and a lot of the comments were one word like, sick, or go, or cool vibes… And a whole lot of, follow me too! But there were some genuine comments which is nice, it's always helpful to get some positive feedback. But after about five songs it doesn't let you listen to any more unless you sign up. It says sign up, it's free! But it's not, you have to select a plan.

Thanks for this, Patrick. I already know how to import midi files into GB. However this once again reminds me that the "Holy Grail" that we've all been waiting for, ever since GB's inception, still has not been realized, after all this time, as far as I know, and that is: exporting GB midi files. This would be so great!

Motu has better A/D converters. The Air feature is just some eq and saturation inside the hood for a fake sound. That's something you can do in post. I've worked with a clarett 8 pre, Scarlett 18i20, a motu M2, and a solo 4th. gen. for voiceover. Thr Motu has the best quality of sound.

Workflow is most important to me…along with not having to maintain a subscription. You can always save out the MIDI and import it into your DAW of choice and have access to hardware and virtual instruments available in your main setup.

I thought you were going to show us how to record into GarageBand with an external device. How do you switch the input? By default GarageBand wants to record the built-in microphone.
